Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, looking back at the PGE Foundation’s impact in 2019 might seem futile. However, we think it’s an important time to highlight the community-based partners who have been on the front lines improving the lives of Oregonians for many years and today are putting their purpose into action in new ways -- helping our community adapt so we can “flatten the curve.”

As we report on last year’s progress and navigate the challenges of the present moment, we must find the strength to look to the future. We believe now, more than ever, that collaborating with community partners to address  immediate needs will contribute to the ongoing sustainability of our nonprofit sector and overall stability of our community.

We will continue to approach our role as a foundation with a spirit of empathy, collaboration, flexibility and equity.
